Introduction of 21645-51-2 :
Aluminum Hydroxide is an orally active main form of aluminum used as adjuvant. Aluminum hydroxide-based adjuvant researches including the repository effect, pro-phagocytic effect, and activation of the pro-inflammatory NLRP3 pathway. Aluminum Hydroxide also acts as adjuvant to compensate low inherent immunogenicity of subunit vaccines[1][2]. In Vivo: Aluminum Hydroxide (orally; 100 mg/kg/day for 7 days) increases lipid peroxidation and decreases the activity of SOD in the brain. Aluminum Hydroxide can dissolve in distilled water to be a homogeneous suspension[3].
