Chemical Name |
Boc₈-Lys₄-Lys₂-Lys-β-Ala-PAM resin (200-400 mesh) |
Synonyms |
MAP-Matrix |
The synthesis of peptide antigens can be carried out according to a procedure in which the peptide is synthesized directly onto a branching lysine core matrix resulting in an octameric MAP structure. Branched antigenic peptides can detect lower amounts of antibodies than monomeric peptides. The increased sensitivity was demonstrated in an ELISA procedure for the detection of HIV-antibodies.
