Xing et al. demonstrated that the Eg5 inhibitor S-(Methoxytrityl)-L-cysteine (S(MeO)TLC) exhibited significant anticancer efficacy (P<0.05) in prostate cancer both in vitro and in vivo. S(MeO)TLC showed a considerably higher activity than STLC (E-2495).
