Introduction of 13487-46-2 :
Arachidonyl alcohol is a long-chain primary fatty alcohol. Arachidonyl alcohol is used as a substrate for the production of several ether lipids possessing beneficial functions[1]. IC50 & Target: IC50: substrate for ether lipids[1] In Vitro: Arachidonyl alcohol can be converted from arachidonic acid, then arachidonyl alcoho accumulated inside the cells as a wax ester. A new strain, Acinetobacter species N-476-2, can effectively convert arachidonic acid to arachidonyl alcohol[1].
