Introduction of 126-27-2 :
Oxethazaine (Oxetacaine), a precursor of phentermine acidic, is an acid-resistent and orally active analgesic agent. Oxethazaine (Oxetacaine) has the potential for the relief of pain associated with peptic ulcer disease or esophagitis[1]. In Vivo: Oxetacaine (intraperitoneal injection; 5, 10, and 15 mg/kg; during days 4–11) doses induces significant conditioned place preference (CPP), and there are no differences among the groups. While its postive control group phentermine only 3 mg/kg causes significant CPP[1].
