Galanin (1-30), human displaces ¹²⁵I-labeled rat galanin with a K_d of 0.5 nM. Galanin (1-30), human (hGal) causes contractions of isolated longitudinal rat fundus strips, with an ED₅₀ of 13.8 ± 1.6 nM^[2].
